Resolved: IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) 6.3 to reach End of Support

Users of the TSM service should be aware that IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) 6.3 will reach End of Support on April 30, 2017.

Resolved: Resolved: Phone Call Quality/Connection Issue for Canvas Support 5/15/2017

The phone system used by the Instructure Canvas Support team is currently having trouble, keeping some of their agents from logging in to accept calls. Those agents who are able to login are noting issues with quality in the call. They are working with their telephony provider to resolve this as quickly as possible. If you need to get in touch with Instructure Canvas Support during this time, please submit a help request ticket to them via the Help Menu in Canvas. We'll let you know of any updates to this issue as soon as we can.

The maintenance that was scheduled for Wednesday, 6/14, will now take place on Thursday, 6/15, during the scheduled maintenance window from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. ET. ANGEL will be unavailable during this time. Once maintenance has been completed users will again be able to access ANGEL.

Degredation: PASS Backups Are Partially Unavailable

DATE AND TIME:
Issue began at 6:00 AM ET on 03/26/2019 and should be fixed by 10:00 PM ET on 04/15/2019 or sooner if possible.

NOTES:
Daily backups of PASS have been impacted worse than expected by the upgrades last week (alert-5445, alert-5446) so some files may not be available for restoration from some time periods since this issue began if requested more than two weeks later. Users who do not need files restored from this time period or request within two weeks are likely not affected.

Teams from Penn State IT have restored service. Impacted users may have to reboot their Cloud Desktop VDI puck to reconnect. All work performed before the outage should reappear upon log in.
